The Sunshine Coast’s beaches are beautiful, but just like Mother Nature, they can be unpredictable. Before swimming in the ocean, take the time to learn the simple rules of beach safety.
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of residents and visitors, lifeguards regularly patrol popular Sunshine Coast beaches. If you’re unsure if beach conditions are suitable for swimming, ask one of the friendly lifeguards or check the signs at the beach entrance.
