Paragliding is the Easiest and Safest form of personal flight known to man. Originating in the Alps in the early 80-s as a climbers descent technique, the sport evolved into a relatively simple, pure form of aviation. To fly, you simply spread out your wing on a hillside and inflate it over your head like a kite, then you are gently lifted into the sky by the upward air currents.
Once you are airborne, you steer the paraglider like a bicycle with the control handles. If you shift your weight in the comfortable seat, you will turn the glider just like a big swing in the sky and soar like the birds. Landing a paraglider is extremely easy, just turn into the wind and gently glide into a soft landing on the beach.
